Carol S. Cyphert
Carol S. Cyphert, 78, of Buffalo Township, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, while surrounded by her family at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.
Carol was born Aug. 2, 1943, in New Kensington, and was a daughter of the late Virginia L. (Sweitzer) and Donald L. Coffman.
She was the widow of Thomas Wesley “Wes” Cyphert, who passed in 2012.
Carol and her husband owned and operated Center Line Tool in Freeport. For many years, Carol was a caregiver to her mother.
Carol enjoyed painting and antique shopping.
She was a member of New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg, and was an active church member. She had taught Sunday school, organized Bible study groups and sang in the choir. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was always going to her grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
Carol is survived by her sons, Sean T. (Jodi) Cyphert of Slate Lick, Craig A. (Michele) Cyphert of Winfield Township, Todd M. (Loretta) Cyphert of South Buffalo Township, and her adopted son, Ger (Laureen) Kehoe of Cleveland, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Noah Thomas, Haleigh Donne, Dean Michael, Nicholas Wesley, Heather Lynn, Sara Marie, Sidney Grace, Clayton Allen, Victoria Paige and Conor Patrick.
Carol is also survived by her sister, Patricia Feder, of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother-in-law, Paul Feder.
CYPHERT — Family and friends of Carol S. Cyphert, who died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at New Life Christian Ministries Church in Saxonburg, with Pastor Chris Marshall officiating.
Burial will be held in Sarverville Cemetery.
