Unemployment figures remain low in March
The unemployment rate in Butler County remained low in March after hitting a historic bottom in February, new numbers show.
Estimates from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Center for Workforce Information and Analysis revised an already record-setting low in February to an even lower figure, and new March numbers are low as well.
The center previously put Butler County at 3.3 percent unemployment in February. On Tuesday, it revised that estimate down to 3.2 percent. The March estimate is a 3.3 percent rate.
