Jessica L. Melick, 49, of Nova, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021.

She was born on May 18, 1972, in Mansfield, Ohio, and was the daughter of Karla (Melick) and the late Adelmo Ansani.

Jessica was a graduate of Butler High School in 1990, and Lenape Practical Nursing School in 1991.

She worked with various longterm facilities and nursing homes.

Jessica enjoyed camping, music, and spending time with friends and loved ones. She was known to have a multitude of friends, to be loved by her patients, always smiling and absolutely loved being a nurse.

Along with her mother, Jessica is survived by her siblings, Adam, Vera, David and Richard Ansani; and her beloved nephew, Bentley Ansani.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Breese.

MELICK — Friends of Jessica L. Melick, who died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1295 Township Road, 653, Ashland, Ohio.
