Virginia A. Blahut
Virginia A. “June” Blahut, 84, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township, formerly of Franklin Park and Palm Beach, Fla., passed away Saturday night, May 15, 2021, at Sherwood Oaks.
Born Sept. 15, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James and Virginia Lavtiero Butler.
June had been a computer operator for Hampton School District.
She was a member of St. Ferdinand Church and had been a member of St. Kilian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean Biermeyer (Lee) of Pittsburgh and Tracy Slater of Mars; her grandchildren, Christopher, David (Jess), Corey (Charrie) and Lee Jr. (Rachel); her great-grandchildren, Calvin, Cassidy and Zeke; and a brother, James (Juanita) Butler of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Regis S. Blahut, whom she married on Aug. 4, 1956, and who died on Nov. 20, 2020; and her sister, Sherene Kennedy.
BLAHUT — Friends of Virginia A. “June” Blahut, who died Saturday, May 15, 2021, are invited to a memorial Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
