Emile Boulanger III

Emile Lewis “Bubby” Boulanger III, 65, of Bellefonte, Pa., passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, following a lingering illness.

Born Jan. 20, 1956, in Butler, he was the son of the late Emile Lewis Boulanger II and Betty Jane Grove Boulanger Graham.

Emile was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retiring after 20 years to become a contractor, working in the United Kingdom on several U.S. government contracts, until his retirement in 2019.He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen E. Stockford Boulanger, whom he married Aug. 27, 1977; one son, Emile L. Boulanger IV of Lewistown; one daughter, Lauren E. Taylor, of Mililani, Hawaii; one granddaughter, Lana M. Taylor of Mililani, Hawaii; and three sisters, Teri Thompson of Butler, Michelle Ruth and her husband, Calvin, of Butler, and Cherie Johnson of Butler.In addition to his parents, Emile was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Boulanger; and two brothers, Brian Boulanger and Gregory Boulanger.BOULANGER — Funeral services, military honors and burial were held privately for Emile Lewis “Bubby” Boulanger, who died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021.Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.Please visit www.martinfh.net.
