Income eligible county residents can sign up for Community Partnership Inc.’s new Supported Agriculture program that provides free boxes of produce from July to September.

Through weekly vegetable subscriptions, residents can receive a mix of produce, including tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, greens and a variety of herbs. The amount and type of produce available will vary according to the weather and other factors.

The program, a partnership between growers and consumers, is designed to serve individuals and families who cannot access other fresh produce programs.

Registration, which ends June 11, is limited to 25 families, and there may be a waiting list for extra produce. Residents can register and learn about eligibility by calling 724-431-3795 or 724-431-3623, or by visiting yourcapinfo.org.
