Frances Hockenberry

Frances M. Hockenberry, of Grove City, passed away on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, following a lengthy illness. She was 62.

Frances was born Sept. 3, 1958, in Grove City, to Charles E. and Phyllis R. (Mulneix) Delu.

She married David R. Hockenberry on Sept. 5, 1980.

She was a graduate of Moniteau High School Class of 1976.

Frances was a member of East Brook Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, David, at home; a daughter, Dawn Deal and her husband, Hank, of Grove City; a son, Matthew Hockenberry and his wife, Amanda, of Cochranton; three grandchildren, Dariane Deal, Grady Deal and Sophia Hockenberry; her mother, Phyllis R. Delu and a sister, Marquita Kordes, both of Grove City; and a brother, Jeff Delu, and his wife, Dana, of Eau Claire.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles E. Delu Jr.

HOCKENBERRY — Visitation hours for Frances M. Hockenberry, who died Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, will be held from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Friday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Slippery Rock Cemetery
