One person suffered a minor head injury in a two-vehicle accident on Route 8 at the entrance to the Clearview Mall in Center Township on Monday evening. State police said a woman driving a car northbound and a man driving pickup truck that was southbound in the turning lane to enter the mall were involved in the accident.

The woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by Butler Ambulance Service with a minor head injury. The driver of the truck was not injured. The Unionville and West Sunbury volunteer fire departments also responded to the accident. The northbound lanes of Route 8 were closed for about an hour until the wrecked vehicles were towed.
