Charles A. Rottman

Charles A. Rottman, 83, of Karns City, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 9, 1938, in the family home in Karns City, to Henry and Wilda (Burkhouse) Rottman.

He loved farming and animals, enjoyed eating out and talking to people, and hanging out with his best friends, Rick and June Helch.

He was a mechanic and worked for Dittman Trucking in Bruin.

Charles married Mary (McCune) Rottman on March 17, 1988, and she died July 5, 2021.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandy and Donald Ulisky of California, and Sharon and Rick Barclay-Black of Kittanning; her son-in-law, Edward Mills Jr. of California; six grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; four brothers, James and Wanda Rottman of Chicora, Harvy and Pauline Rottman of Philadelphia, Rich Rottman of Butler, and Frank and Linda Rottman of Karns City; and a sister, Lois and Jess Hamilton of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; and a daughter, Sally Mills.

ROTTMAN — There will not be a visitation or funeral service for Charles A. Rottman, who died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021.
