A Cranberry Township woman, accused of stealing medical supplies and medicine prescribed to a patient, was admitted to the county Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program during her formal arraignment in Butler County Court on Tuesday.

Jill M. Jackson, 41, was admitted to the 24-month program on the charges of misdemeanor theft and possession of a controlled substance. She was also ordered to pay costs and restitution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations and complete 50 hours community service.

The county ARD program is an alternative prosecution that includes no imprisonment and that allows all charges to be suspended anddismissed upon successful completion of the program, according to the county’s website.
