Muriel K. Maier, 87, of Pine Township died Thursday morning at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Place.

Born in Regina, Canada, on April 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Julie Sabo Kean.

Surviving are her husband, Howard J. Maier, who she married on Sept. 2, 1949; a son, Russel J. Maier and his wife, Joan, of Mars; a daughter, Amy Maier of Mars; and a grandson, Matthew Maier.

MAIER — Arrangements for Muriel K. Maier, who died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, were conducted privately by the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Burial was at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Pine Township.

Memorials in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
