The Butler Chamber of Commerce's 2019 Leadership Butler County class is raising money to replace the floors in two equine arenas at Glade Run Adventures in Zelienople.
The project, which will cost $30,000, will replace the sub-base and mats in the stalls and the dirt and sand surface in the riding arenas.
Julie Wahlenmayer, the director at Glade Run Adventures, said the current “footing” in the stalls and arenas might have been the cause of tendon injuries for two horses who are on stall rest to recuperate.
