BUTLER TWP — The Local Artists Mini-Series at Butler County Community College will feature cellist Robin Hasenpflug and Friends at 2 p.m. April 15 in the Succop Theater on campus.
Selections will be drawn from the works of Puccini, Beethoven, Schubert and Handel Halvorsen.

PITTSBURGH — Three county students are part of Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s production of “Titanic: The Musical” running April 5 to 8 at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh.
They are Marnie Butler of Mars High School and Brecken Farrell and Torrance Bajuszik, both of Knoch High School.

CRANBERRY TWP — CranFest, Cranberry Township’s fourth annual celebration of cultural diversity, will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. 2525 Rochester Road.
The folk and food festival will feature a series of 20-minute dance and musical performances on two different stages and cuisine from various South American, Asian and Eastern European nations!
Another event, Cranberry at Your Service, coincides with CranFest and highlights the services performed by the township’s municipal departments, such as public works, public safety, and parks and recreation.

LYNDORA — “Tumble Inn Revisited” is planned for April 14 at the Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave.
The evening will include dinner and dancing to music by DJs Dave Martin and Ron Marowitz.

KARNS CITY — “A Wish for Giants” will be shown at 7 p.m. April 13 at Karns City High School.
The locally-made movie is based on Aaron Dunbar’s 2015 published novel of the same title. It’s a story of Roxie Madison, a young girl diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor who is referred to a Wish granting entity. Roxie wishes to find Bigfoot.

PITTSBURGH — Carnegie Museums will offer free admission days Thursday and Friday.
Admission to Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History and The Andy Warhol Museum is free thanks to the Jack Buncher Foundation.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with regular evening hours at the Oakland museums until 8 p.m. Thursday; and regular Friday hours on Good Friday at The Warhol, when the museum is open until 10 p.m. Standard parking and special activity fees apply.

The St. Vincent College Camerata will present a choral concert at 4 p.m. April 22 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Admission is free.

PITTSBURGH — The annual Pittsburgh Daffodil Show will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 at the Shady Side Academy Senior School Ice Rink, 423 Fox Chapel Road.
Admission is free to the event presented by the Daffodil and Hosta Society of Western Pennsylvania.
The annual Hosta Show will be June 2 in Wexford.
