In memory of Nancy Preston who passed away 20 years ago, July 10th

This is a rough one to write this year,

To imagine 20 years without you.

So many things have happened

That you weren’t here to share in.

Times when we all needed kind words

Times when we just needed to see you smile

Times when we needed a hug

Times when we needed a friend

Times when we celebrated

Times when we cried

Although we know you are watching over us

And keeping us safe,

Hearing your voice on videos and

Seeing your face in pictures….

Just isn’t the same.

You are missed more than you will ever know

Continue to watch over us

Until we meet again Mom.
