The Butler County Philatelic Society is holding the 72nd annual Butlerpex stamp and post card exhibition May 11 and 12 at the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora. The event, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, will feature a cachet envelope and insert card featuring Butler’s 100th birthday.

A bourse will feature 13 dealers of philatelic supplies, stamps, postal stationery and post cards for novice and advanced collectors. Dealer appraisals will be available.

SAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company has started its annual fund drive.

The organization has mailed donation request letters to residents, businesses and property owners.

Those not yet receiving a letter may still make a donation by mailing it to Saxonburg VFC, 210 Horne Ave., Saxonburg, PA 16056.
