Freeport hockey wins scrimmage
Freeport’s varsity hockey team defeated Burrell, 10-5, in a scrimmage game recently.
Cole Mitchell had two goals and three assists for the Yellowjackets while Keith Smilowitz and Paula Zecca added two goals each. Jack Mason had a goal and two assists, Jake Suwan a goal and assist, Addison Stewart and Marcus Trask a goal each.
The regular season begins Nov. 3.
