Ralph Cooper
Ralph Edward Cooper, 82, of Renfrew, passed away on Aug. 23, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 26, 1939, in Butler, and was the son of the late Lewis Leroy Cooper and the late Edna Marie Young Cooper.
Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He worked as a rigger for Armco Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1998.Ralph was a member of William H. Miller Lodge 769 F&AM, AASR (Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite) Valley of New Castle, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and Caravan 14 of Butler.He was also a member of the Meridian Veterans Club, and served as past commander of Meridian Veterans Club. Ralph was a member of Ducks Unlimited and served as a past state youth chairman of Ducks Unlimited.Ralph was a member and trustee of Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He was a life member of the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club.Ralph was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He loved to travel.Ralph is survived by his wife, Sally Jean Cooper, whom he married on Sept. 2, 1961; three sisters, Janet M. (Edgar) McGee of Zelienople, Judith A. Bodnar of Penn Hills and Jeannie E. (J. Donald) Gamble of Renfrew; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Lewis L.
