Deborah Lynn Burr
Deborah Lynn Burr, 62, of Evans City, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital McCandless Township.
Born Sept. 1, 1959, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Leroy and Twila (Wimer) Young.
In addition to her parents, Leroy and Twila, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, William “Bill” Burr, whom she married June 16, 1978; her children, Michael Burr of Evans City, LeighAnn (Nathan) Schultheis of Prospect, William (Jessica) Burr of New Sewickley Township, and Robert (Jaclyn) Burr of Harmony; her grandchildren, Aiden, Parker and Payton Schultheis, Beau and Brinley Burr, Arianna (John) Thompson, and Blade, Kahli and Libby Coe; her great-grandson, Elijah; her siblings, Leroy (Peggy) Young of Daugherty Township, and Barbara Young of Marion Township; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Alma Young; and her maternal grandparents, Norman and Harriet Wimer.
Debbie was Protestant by faith.
She worked for many years as the secretary at Abbruzzese Appliance in Zelienople.
She enjoyed snow-birding in the winter months in Florida.
Debbie loved to craft, and above all, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
BURR — Friends of Deborah Lynn Burr, who died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
