3 injured in 2-vehicle crash in city
A two-car crash Thursday morning on South Monroe Street in Butler sent three people to a hospital.
Police said the three were taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Butler County dispatchers issued the call to city police and firefighters around 10 a.m.
The two cars came to rest in line with one another at the intersection of South Monroe Street and Maple Avenue.Both vehicles, one a gray Pontiac Transit and the other a dark-blue Hyundai Sante Fe, had heavy front-end damage and were towed from the scene.Police said the Transit hit a building on the northeast corner of the intersection, but the building showed no signs of damage.Police continued their investigation Thursday.
