Desiree Henry

Desiree Henry of McKeesport, formerly of Butler, graduated in December from California (Pa.) University, where she received a master's degree in education, K-12, and principal's certification degree.A 1998 graduate of Butler High School, she graduated in 2002 from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast communications and theater.She graduated in 2005 from Robert Morris University with a Pennsylvania teaching certification in English and communications for grades seventh to 12th.She is the daughter of Kenneth and Deborah Henry of Butler and is engaged to Rob Cherepko.She is employed as a language arts and English teacher at West Mifflin High School, where she also is the assistant varsity girls basketball coach.
