Somehow when I need a hug,

You are there for me.

You let me know I’m not alone,

As a leaf falls from a tree.

A shiny penny in a parking lot,

On a very busy day,

As I stop to pick it up, I know,

You’re with me on my way.

Your birthday is a special day,

And we wish you could be here,

But know your spirit lives in us,
