Judy A. O'Donnell-Roddy

Judy A. O'Donnell-Roddy, 70, of Chicora, Oakland Township, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her daughters and grandson on Wednesday evening, Oct. 20, 2021.

Judy was born Jan. 21, 1951, in Chicora. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Louise Young O'Donnell.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She was a 1969 graduate of Butler Area High School, and was a longtime owner and employee in the family business, O'Donnell's Distributors.

Judy was an avid golfer. She had enjoyed skydiving and had a keen interest in dinosaurs, thoroughly enjoying again and again “Jurassic Park” and its sequels.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Lynch and Shannon of Indiana, and Diane Lynch of Chicora; a stepdaughter, Erin Neiper and her husband, Craig, of Slippery Rock; a grandson, Harrison Lynch of Chicora; her stepgrandchildren, Garrett Griffith, and Aidan and Aela Neiper; and her brothers, Harry “Butch” O'Donnell and his wife, Linda, Dennis O'Donnell and his wife, Doris, all of Chicora, and Steve O'Donnell and his wife, Sherry, and Jay O'Donnell, all of Butler; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Connie O'Donnell; and a nephew, Justin O'Donnell.

Judy said, “I want to say, thank you to all of my family and friends for letting me be a part of their lives, because it brought me such happiness and joy.”

O'DONNELL-RODDY — Private arrangements for Judy A. O'Donnell-Roddy, who died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, are under the direction of Hile Funeral Home of Chicora.
