Margaret C. Wirsing
Margaret C. “Marge” Wirsing of Zelienople, formerly of Callery, died Thursday morning, Nov. 11, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 21, 1932, in Uniontown, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna Bacha Cutler.
She graduated from North Union High School.
She retired in 2003 from the Butler Area School District, where she was a secretary for the PAR program.
She attended St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.
Surviving are a sister, Betty Brenckle of Harmony; her local nieces and nephews, Linda Finnigan of Harmony, James Brenckle (Cheri) and Ronald “Mac” Brenckle (Jessica), both of Butler, Susan Scheller (Brian) of Baden, and Michelle Ringler of Slippery Rock; and her additional nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Wirsing, whom she married on Aug. 28, 1968, and who died on Sept. 2, 2008; her sisters, Agnes Zitney, Josephine Holchin, Catherine Wiltrout and Anna Kremposky; and her brothers, George and Thomas Cutler.
WIRSING — Friends of Margaret C. “Marge” Wirsing, who died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.
