Motorcyclist collides with unmarked police vehicle
FAIRVIEW TWP — A motorcycle and an unmarked state police vehicle collided Friday morning in Fairview Township, according to state police.
The motorcyclist was injured in the accident, which occurred shortly after 9 a.m. around Route 268 and Oak Road, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to an undisclosed hospital with unknown injuries.
The unmarked police vehicle was driven by a trooper based out of the Kittanning barracks, according to a state police spokesman.
According to state police, the unmarked vehicle was not pursuing the motorcycle and the two were not involved in a police matter. State police are still investigating the accident and will release more information later.
