Butler Township police are asking for help in locating a woman who is accused of stealing money from a charity donation jar.

The suspect is believed to have stolen from the jar, which collects money for the Children's Miracle Network, at the Speedway on Hansen Avenue at 9:23 a.m. Oct. 24.

The police department posted a photo of the woman and asked for help in identifying her in regard to the theft.

Police would not disclose how much money was inside the jar.

Police said the woman was seen driving a light colored Chevrolet Malibu that is believed to be a 2004 to 2008 model. Police ask anyone with information about the woman to call the department at 724-285-9600.
