Fire crews responded to the home at 105 Panther Road in Connoquenessing Township at about 1:08 p.m. to find the garage in flames and collapsing.

A brush fire on Panther Road in Connoquenessing Township spread to a nearby garage at 105 Panther Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire crews responded to the home at about 1:08 p.m. to find the garage in flames and collapsing.

Lou Zimmerman, chief of Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company, said that the fire resulted in no injuries, but the garage of the home was a total loss. He said the house took fire damage as well.

Zimmerman expected the crews — which included Prospect Volunteer Fire Department, Harmony Volunteer Fire Department, Callery Volunteer Fire Company, Portersville Volunteer Fire Department and Butler Township Fire Department — to clear the scene around 3:30 p.m.
