Johnston brothers finish 1st, 2nd
WASHINGTON, Pa. — Horse trainers Aaron and Shawn Johnston of Evans City combined to sweep an exacta in the fifth race during harness racing Thursday at The Meadows.
Penniman, trained by Aaron Johnston, rallied to win the race at 47-1 odds in the $7,600 Claiming Handicap Trot. Vector, Shawn Johnston’s trainee, finished second.
