WASHINGTON TWP — A Butler County teenager is accused in a suspected case of revenge porn.

Austin D. McAnallen, 19, of Washington Township allegedly sent naked images of his ex-girlfriend to at least two boys as part of his plan to get back at her for allegedly cheating on him.

State police Tuesday charged McAnallen with misdemeanor and summary charges of transmission of sexually explicit images.

The case came to light in January after one of the boys who received the naked photos forwarded them to the victim and advised her that the defendant was “sending them around,” police said.

Police said the victim informed administrators at Moniteau High School, who contacted police.

Investigators subsequently confronted the defendant, who admitted he sent the pictures, allegedly for revenge, documents said.

The charges against McAnallen were sent by summons and a preliminary hearing was not immediately scheduled.
