State Rep. Marci Mustello, R-11th, will partner with the Butler Area School District to hold a seminar about cyberbullying from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Butler Senior High School auditorium.

Middle school and high school parents and students are welcome to attend the free event.

A Pa. State Police trooper will give a presentation on the dangers of bullying, harassment and “sexting.”

Mustello said the seminar will educate parents on protecting their children from online predators and what actions they should take if a child becomes a victim.

She said a discussion will also take place on the dangers students face by participating in risky online behaviors like bullying, harassment and sexting.
