Angert

Justin Angert, son of Ken and Debbie Angert of Chicora, graduated from the University of Massachusetts,Lowell, recently with a master's degree in plastics engineering.A 2004 graduate of Penn State University and a 2000 graduate of Karns City High School, Angert is employed as a plastics engineer at Respironics Inc. in Murrysville.———

<B>Ashleigh Hay</B>, daughter of Edward and Mary Ann Hay of Butler, graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in finance.She was named to the dean's list and dean's list with distinction and belonged to the Gamma Sigma Phi sorority.A 2002 Butler High School graduate, she will attend Villanova University's paralegal program in the fall.———

U.S. Air Force cadet <B>Jeffrey Kukuruda, </B>son of<B> </B>Ron and Shelley Kukuruda of Zelienople, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.Kukuruda received a bachelor's degree in social science and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.He is scheduled to attend undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.———

<B>Lacey Hesidenz</B>, daughter of Linus and Lou Ann Hesidenz of Butler, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Kent State University.While at school, Lacey received President's and Trustees scholarships each year and was named to the dean's list for several semesters. She also was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority.A 2002 graduate of Butler High School, Hesidenz has accepted a position in the neo-natal intensive care unit at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.———

Mars resident <B>Nicholas Ryzyi</B> graduated from Boston University recently with a bachelor's degree in anthropology.———

<B>Jonathan Schnur</B>, son of Larry and Carol Schnur of Butler, graduated with a doctor of physical therapy degree from Slippery Rock University.A 1997 graduate of Butler High School, Schnur also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.He is employed by HealthSouth Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Mechanicsburg.———

<B>Ari Tonini</B>, daughter of Gary and Peggy Tonini of Butler, graduated from Hood College with a bachelor's degree in political science.While attending school, she received several scholarships, including the Hodson Trust Academic Scholarship and the Trustee Scholarship. She also was awarded a Second Century Foundation Grant to work with orphans and children infected with HIV/AIDs in Bucharest and Iasis, Romania.She was named to the dean's list several times and was a member of Hood's honors program. She was also inducted into national honor societies Mortar Board and Ionic Society, of which she was treasurer. She served as vice president and president of the Hood College Choir, treasurer of her residence hall and a freshman class representative to the student government association. Tonini also served as an intern at the U.S. Department of State-Foreign Service Institute and worked for the National Defense Council Foundation as a research assistant.———

<B>Kimberly Evanchec</B>, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Evanchec of Saxonburg, graduated cum laude from St. Vincent College inMay with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in psychology.She belonged to the Alpha Lambda Delta and Psi Chi honor fraternities as well as Best Buddies International.A 2002 Knoch graduate, she plans to attend Duquesne University's School of Nursing.———

<B>Ruth Mick</B> of Zelienople graduated magna cum laude from Lipscomb University in May with a bachelor's degree in environmental science.While at Lipscomb, Mick also participated in the inauguration of the school's 17th president.———

<B>Jessica Truskowski</B> of Saxonburg graduated from Boston University recently with a bachelor's degree in psychology.———

<B>Jason Scarborough</B>, son of Diane Moore of Evans City and Mark Scarborough of Slippery Rock, graduated from Ohio Northern University with a bachelor's degree in political science and minors in geography/GIS and business option.On campus, Scarborough was active in student senate and the men's wrestling team.He is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School———

<B>Tiffany Lonchena</B>, daughter of Paul and Marsha Lonchena of Evans City, graduated with high distinction from Ohio Northern University.On campus, she was active in the ONU Environmentalist club, Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary for freshman women, Beta Beta Beta biology honorary, Phi Beta Delta honorary for international endeavors, the Society of Medical Professions and the women's indoor and outdoor track teams.She is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School.———
