Patricia Marie Sloboda McKinney

Patricia Marie Sloboda McKinney, 60, entered into her eternal heavenly home on Tuesday at her residence.

Patty was born Nov. 4, 1957, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late John Sloboda and Cecelia Salvaggio Sloboda. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Mark Douglas McKinney.

She was a very loving wife and wonderful mother to her three sons. Her grandchildren were the “Sunshine” of their Nana's life.

Patty was a hardworking, outgoing person, who loved life.

She had worked for Members Credit Union for six years.

She loved her dog, Roxie.

Those who are left to cherish Patty's memories are her three sons, Nathan Douglas McKinney and his wife, Amy, of Jamestown, N.C., Jason Matthew McKinney and his fiancée, Brie Sisak, of Greensboro, N.C., and Jerrod David McKinney of High Point, N.C.; three grandchildren, Carlyn Elizabeth McKinney, Emery Cecelia McKinney and Chase John Sisak; four siblings, Gloria Jean Ramelli and her husband, Raymond, of Pennsylvania, John P. Sloboda and his wife, Brenda, of Pennsylvania, Rocco J. Sloboda and his wife, Darlene, of Pennsylvania, and Steven R. Sloboda and his wife, Cindy, of Florida.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

MCKINNEY — The family of Patricia Marie Sloboda McKinney, who died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Friendly Hills Church, PCA, 1450 Guilford College Road, Jamestown, N.C.A service to celebrate Patty's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the church with Pastors Nathan Kline and Josh Cushings officiating.Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, N.C. is handling the arrangements.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.Condolences may be shared at www.cumbyfuneral.com.
