Fall Fest replaces Community Days
Replacing this year’s event, the Butler Fall Festival will stage Community Days Sept. 11 and 18.
The Sept. 11 event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Memorial Park, 100 Memorial Drive, and will feature food and craft vendors, music, and a car cruise sponsored and organized by Fast and Fair Auto Repair.
The Sept. 18 event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Father Marinaro Park, Kaufman Drive, and feature food and craft vendors, live music by Zach Rovito, Sophie Lockhart and others to be determined, and a “Skate Jam” competition within the skate park for cash prizes.
Any profits from the Sept. 18 event will be donated to the Father Marinaro skate park to follow the $2,500 donation the Butler Fall Festival’s Board of Directors authorized earlier this year.
The Butler Fall Festival is still recovering from the pandemic. Because of the lack of available sponsors and volunteers, the board of directors has decided that the typical Community Days will replace the normal Fall Festival event. It is the goal of the directors to return the festival to Main Street in 2022.
