Storm damage reported Wednesday evening included planes flipped over at a local airport and trees down on houses and roads.

Among those affected was Bobbi Taylor of Jefferson Township. A large tree branch fell on the roof of her home on Mushrush Road.“It's just a hideous mess,” Taylor said.At the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, in Penn Township, at least two planes were flipped over after severe thunderstorms with heavy winds tore through the area.The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh first issued a severe thunderstorm warning for a portion of Butler County, including Butler, Meridian and East Butler, at approximately 4 p.m. It warned of winds up to 60 miles per hour and quarter-sized hail.Another warning came for areas including Chicora and East Brady at nearly 4:30 and lasted through 5 p.m.
