Saxonburg fine art winners awarded

“Sophie,” a painting by Marilyn Tynan of Butler, won Best of Show at the 33rd fine art portion of the Saxonburg Festival of the Arts that took place over the weekend.

The Saxonburg Fine Art winners for this year were named at last weekend's Saxonburg Festival of the Arts.

Best of Show went to Marilyn Tynan of Butler for her painting “Sophie.”

The this year was “flowers,” and the theme award went to Stan Walchesky. The Cooper Award was presented to Mary Jane Hadley.
