Avis Mae Neubert

Avis Mae Neubert, 92, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 19, 1929, in Springdale, she was the daughter of the late Otto Berz and Elma Shuman Berz.

Avis was a graduate of Winfield High School and the Allegheny Valley School of Nursing.

She worked at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, where she worked as a registered nurse before her retirement.

She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

Avis enjoyed reading and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving are her loving son, Kevin (Michelene) Neubert of Butler; her grandchildren, Amber (Doug) Rieger of Butler, Shannon Schlumberger of Leechburg, Emily (Matt) Tilden of Cranberry Township and Jason Neubert of Saxonburg; her great-grandsons, Joshua Tilden and Kieran Tilden of Cranberry Township; and her son-in-law, Roger Zier of Leechburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Neubert; and her daughter, Karen Zier.

NEUBERT — Visitation and services will be private for Avis Mae Neubert, who died Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.

Interment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park.

Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg is entrusted with the arrangements.
