John E. Zacherl

John E. Zacherl, 56, of Butler passed away Saturday peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

Born May 5, 1961, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Edward Zacherl Eileen Brolley Zacherl.

John was the owner of John Zacherl HVAC and was his dad and mom's right-hand man. He was a member of West View Sportsmen's Club and the Sportsmen's Club of Forest County. He enjoyed golfing, camping and archery. He was a Steelers fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his son, Christopher Zacherl of Butler; two daughters, Jessica (Jeff Carson) Norris of Tarentum and Sara (Nick) Urik of Freeport; one brother, Edward Zacherl of Saxonburg; two sisters, Cindy Zacherl of Lewes, Del., and Elaine (Tom) Korbeck of Sarver; seven grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Miley, Leela, Dylan, Paige and Donovan; his godparents, Steve and Pat Paskorz of West Deer; and three nieces; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Anna Zacherl; and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Naomi Brolley.

ZACHERL — Friends of John E. Zacherl, who died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Homein Saxonburg.Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
