Martin O'Malley Sr.

Martin R. O'Malley Sr., 84, of Richland Township, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.

Born April 1, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Martin and Katherine (Phillips) O'Malley.

He was the husband of Mary Ann (Cornett) O'Malley, who passed away on March 10, 2004.

Martin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and SCARWAF, Special Category Army Reassigned With the Air Force.He was a member of American Legion Post 548 and St. Richard Church.Martin worked for Trailways and Greyhound until retirement. He enjoyed gardening and mechanics, and was known for his jovial antics.He is survived by his five children, Martin O'Malley Jr., Donna Cosme, Timothy O'Malley, Beverly Leya and Katherine Crooks; 13 grandchildren; 30 great- grandchildren; 10 great- great-grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Paskorz; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael O'Malley.O'MALLEY — The family of Martin R. O'Malley Sr., who died on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, will welcome friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, 943 Route 910, Cheswick, with Deacon Cliff Homer officiating.
