A Brady Township man is accused of inappropriately touching two young girls in Butler last year.
Butler police on Wednesday obtained an arrest warrant for 61-year-old Farrell B. Parker on several charges, including one count of aggravated indecent assault of a victim less than 16 years of age and two counts of corruption of minors, all felonies.
He also is charged with two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a victim less than 16 years of age.
Parker is expected to turn himself in for arraignment Friday, police said. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
City police were notified Oct. 8 of the case of alleged child abuse. Two weeks later, police said, the victims, then both under 13 years old, underwent a forensic interview at the Butler County Alliance for Children,
The children during the interview recounted being assaulted by the defendant at a Butler home between Sept. 1 and Oct. 8, 2020, police said.
