Guylia R. McCool

Guylia R. McCool, 93, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2021, at Grove City Hospital.

Guylia was born April 13, 1928, at home in Harrisville. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Della McFadden McGill.

Guylia received her education from Harrisville High School.

She married Winfred A. McCool. He passed away in 1988.

Guylia worked at Henry's Meat Market in Harrisville for several years.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her whole world. She loved talking to each of them. She would tell them to love one another and never give up. She didn't miss a Pittsburgh Steelers game, and would never turn down a game of Yahtzee.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beverly Mathieson, and her husband, Rick; her beloved grandchildren, Jim Heasley and his companion, Jackie, Chad Heasley, Tony Colosimo and Mike Bonefeste; her great-grandchildren, Jerry Heasley and his wife, Christin, Todd Heasley, Hannah Heasley, Tony Colosimo, Elizabeth Colosimo and Teagan Derringer; one sister, Erla Oestereich, and her husband, Frank; one niece; and three nephews.

Guylia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Susan Bonefeste; her grandson, Todd Heasley; her granddaughter, Angela Derringer; her sons-in-law, John Bonefeste and Tom Bowers; and her brothers and sisters, Guy McGill, Edith Ritenour, Joe McGill, Elton McGill, Junior McGill and Gearld McGill.

To my loving family — I love you all dearly; don't shed a tear, I spent my Christmas with Jesus this year.

MCCOOL — Per her request, there will be no services for Guylia R. McCool, who died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021.

Burial took place at Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.

The Jamison-McKinley Funeral Home in Harrisville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
