LOCK HAVEN — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference produced a conference-record 3,762 scholar-athletes during the 2019-20 academic year. That represents 50 percent of the PSAC’s student athletes.

A scholar-athlete carries a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Slippery Rock University had 260, which is 63 percent of its student athletes. Only West Chester — at 64 percent — had a higher percentage.

Mercyhurst led the PSAC with 407 scholar-athletes in 2019-20.
