Crews were working on the pole Thursday morning.

No one was injured early this morning when a suspected drunken driver slammed into a utility pole on the 100 block of Pillow Street in Butler, authorities said.

The crash about 2:20 a.m. broke the pole owned by CenturyLink.

City police said charges of driving under the influence are pending against the suspect, who they only identified as a 26-year-old woman from Cheswick, Allegheny County.

The woman was coming from Hansen Avenue when she lost control of her Jeep Renegade, police said. The pole was broken just above impact with the vehicle, which sustained heavy front-end damage.
