I-279 closed due to Hazmat incident
A portion of Interstate 279 — from the I-279 Interchange to Camp Horne Road — is closed to traffic following a tanker rollover Tuesday afternoon.
A portion of the Interstate 279 heading south — from the I-279 Interchange to Camp Horne Road — is closed to traffic following a tanker rollover Tuesday afternoon.
The tanker landed on its side and is leaking antifreeze, according to state police. The Allegheny County hazardous materials team has been called.
