East Butler scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull out a 7-6 win over Freeport in Butler County Area Baseball League action recently at Speed-O Field.

Austin Rogers was the winning pitcher with six innings of relief work. Luke Harbison drilled a three-run homer in the second inning.

Trevor Gilliland and Connor Miller had two singles each for East Butler.

Matt Grove paced Freeport with a double, single and four RBI. Joe Hotalski added a pair of singles.

Meridian 6, West Sunbury 4 — Winning pitcher Colby Anderson allowed four runs in five innings. Mason Strawn tossed a scoreless two innings.

Grant Metzger had two hits for Meridian.
