Here are scheduled performances in theaters in the Butler County area:

Butler Little Theatre, One Howard St., will present the play version of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. It will run July 17 to 20. For information, call 724-287-6781.

The Butler Summer Dramatics program will stage "Grease" at 7:30 p.m. July 31, Aug. 1 and 2 and at 2 p.m. Aug 3 at the Succop Theatre on the campus of Butler Community College.Tickets will be available at May's Music Shoppe, 247 E. Jefferson St.

Comtra Theater on Route 19 in Cranberry Township planned plays and musicals in its theatre-in-the-round.Showing for the summer are:• May 30 to June 14 — "Rain"• June 20 to July 5 — "Seussical"• July 11 to 26 — "Guys & Dolls"• Aug. 1 to 16 — "Leader of the Pack"• Aug. 22 to Sep. 6 — "Damn Yankees."Shows Start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for plays and $15 for musicals. The Freeport Theatre Festival will help celebrate Freeport's 175th anniversary with a performance of "Massey Harbison, a Historical Drama," a story about a pioneer heroine and Freeporter, as written and directed by Rennick Steele.Performances are July 11 to 13, 18 to 20, 25 to 27 and Aug. 1 to 3. Extra performances are offered as part of the town's anniversary celebrations the week of July 26 through Aug. 3. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m.The other show in theater's summer season will be "Arms and the Man," a romantic comedy by George Bernard Shaw, which will be directed by Marushka Steele. Shows are Aug. 8 to 10, 15 to 17, and 22 to 24. Curtain is at 8 p.m.Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and students.A pre-theatre dinner is offered at the River Forest Country Club.
