MUDDY CREEK TWP — The Regatta at Lake Arthur is being held Saturday and Sunday at Moraine State Park.

Water, air and land events along with live entertainment, craft and food vendors, children's activities, homemade sailboats, and canoe, kayak and sailboat races are planned.

Fireworks over the lake are set for Saturday night.

The Butler Public Library and Thompson-Miller Funeral Home will host three concerts at the library, 218 N. McKean St.The “Music in the Courtyard” series will be held outdoors in the library courtyard.The concert scheduled for Aug. 24 will feature “Tom Panei & Friends” playing folk, country and rock tunes.On Sept. 21, TMG Jazztette will play jazz and pop tunes. SLIPPERY ROCK TWP, Lawrence County — 3MJC, the Moraine McConnells Mill Jennings Commission, will host a picnic dinner at 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Kildoo Pavilion at McConnells Mill State Park.Take a covered dish to share along with your own place setting. The Maridon Museum will host a build-a-horse children's activity at 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at the museum, 322 N. McKean St.Cost is $6 per child, with additional children in same family at $4. ELDERTON — The Tri County Country Music Association will have a car cruise and flea market from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Elderton Towne Hall, Route 422.Registration for the cruise is noon to 1 p.m. followed by the show.Cost is $20 including food, or $10 not including food.
