The AABC Annual Butler County High School Art Exhibit opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. March 12 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The opening of this annual exhibit is being delayed a week to allow high school art teachers to get their students' work to the center.

Also, the free Saturday art classes scheduled for Feb. 27 were moved to March 20. Those include Stuffed Monsters, noon to 1:30 p.m.; Eric Carle Animals, noon to 1:30 p.m.; and Wax Resist Paintings, 2 to 3 p.m.

This Saturday and March 13 also feature free classes.

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present its Family Pops Concert, "Modern America," at 7:30 p.m. March 13 in the auditorium at Butler Intermediate High School, 551 Fairground Hill RoadThe featured soloist for this program will be pianist Michael King-Hon Tsang, winner of the 31st Annual Young Artist Competition.Also recognized at this concert will be students in grades four through six who have been designated Young Musicians of Note by their music teachers.
