The Butler County Symphony Orchestra's Feb. 12 concert will feature classical guitarist Marco Sartor.

A native of Uruguay, Sartor is a winner of numerous international competitions and has performed across the U.S., South America and Europe. He will perform the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo.

The theme for this 62nd season is “Images,” and this concert will be focused on “Romance.”

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School Auditorium, 551 Fairground Hill Road.

Reserved seat tickets are available at the symphony association office, 259 S. Main St. Adult tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door on concert night. Student tickets are $5.

ZELIENOPLE — The Strand Theater Initiative hosts a “Hands Around Haiti” benefit concert featuring the Doo Wop band, The Softwinds.Performances will also include the groups The Pop Rocks, Tre Locos Gringos and The Blazin' Angels.Proceeds will be donated to The Pittsburgh Kids Foundation, which has maintained a strong presence in Haiti.The concert will start at 7 p.m. Jan. 29.
