BUTLER TWP — An evening of one-act plays written by award-winning author and Butler native Donald Orwald will be presented at 8 p.m. July 17 at the Succop Theatre at Butler County Community College.The program, staged as a readers' theater, is a benefit for the Mary Jo Covert-Mohn Endowed Scholarship Fund, which raises money for theater students attending BC3.Tickets are $15 and are available by calling 724-284-8505 or online at bc3.edu/theater.

GIBSONIA — Greater Harmony Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, has again been invited to Europe by Music Celebrations to participate in the American Celebration of Music, a concert tour tribute to the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the Battle of Normandy and the Liberation of France.The group will be in France July 26 to Aug. 2.
