Train display debuts modelPITTSBURGH — The Carnegie Science Center unveiled its newest addition to the Miniature Railroad & Village recently.A model of the Westinghouse atom smasher, a symbol of Pittsburgh’s industrial innovation, joins other local landmarks in the iconic exhibit.The Miniature Railroad & Village was created by Charles Bowdish in 1919 and displayed at his home. In 1954, the display moved to Buhl Planetarium and relocated to science center in 1992.
