MTG presents ‘Last Five Years’The Musical Theatre Guild of Butler will stage “The Last Five Years” March 31 to April 9 at the MTG Production Center at the back of Butler Memorial Park, 100 Memorial Drive.“The Last Five Years” is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown. It premiered in 2001. The story explores a relationship between a rising novelist and a struggling actress.Curtain will be at 7:30 p.m. March 31 and April 1, 7 and 8 and at 3 p.m. April 9. Tickets are $17, available at mtgbutler.org with a service fee.
Opus I offers scholarshipApplications for Opus I Music Society’s scholarship are available to former students of Seneca Valley, Mars and Pine Richland school districts.The award is open to college juniors and seniors with either a major or a minor in any aspect of music.The deadline for applications is April 15.
